I'd be up for doing russian!
I still have a few bits and bobs left.....
Oh... Spoon is pronounced lorshka.
Russian sounds good, will start collecting gear comrades!
Welcome comrades, glad to have some new recruits for the motherland! Things are a little quiet on the Eastern front right now and we're lacking a leader as such but we may have to see about changing that.
I think the first step would be to see about getting some kit guides done.
i have a PPSH sling for sale, pm me for price.
Well some little feeling in my waters says that it might be time to get join the revolution and get a Ruskie kit soon?
I was reading through the kit guide that just went up - thank you, useful- and am ! missing something or is not the basics covered by 43 summer uniform and the 'WW2 Russian private's battle "GEAR" set' form FrontOfRussia for $200?
The uniform & gear sets at front of Russia are a good place to start your impression. I have the M35 set (16F by his codes) and its good value for money.
Glad you found the guide useful. Although you've just reminded me of a couple of things I've missed that I may add on.
Heh, plenty of time between now and December to get kit together
(Cracking guide Lardy, which I have stickied)

December, that's good it means
1. I can buy other uniform in between.
2. Greatcoats without heatstroke
hurrah!
Does that mean...... possible russian game in december?
possibly stalin/lenin grad ish type scenario?

Cheers. I noticed you'd stickied it too.

Yup Shinels and Ushankas will be the order of the day. Hopefully time for someone to bring out a decent soviet weapon too.

Judging by what I've seen we're going to be celebrating Christmas on the Volga.
