Can anyone help,,the firing pin in my mauser has come loose, i think the spring that pushes it back has broke is there a way to diss assemble the mauser, also all the mags i buy seem to leak within a few uses and are now no good i have 5 of them is this a manufacturing fault, i have tried all kinds of low powered gas but the end result is always the same after about 1-2 mag loads the mag leaks fast and is probably empty within 5mins, i have also been carefull not to over fill them

i can now see that dry firing this weapon with no mag in will kill the firing pin as it shoots through the spring this could happen on the first time it is fired without the mag in, DO NOT FIRE THE BROOM HANDLED MAUSER WITHOUT A MAG IN PLACE!!!!!

The hard part was getting it back together, the trigger lever has to be slightly raised when pushed back together, i would sugest holding the gun on its side with your right hand holding the handle as the trigger lever is slightly to one side..all in all job done!! will try the brake fluid and let ya know how i get on
and thanks again slick!!

i soaked my seals (o rings) in atf auto transmission fluid and it fixed them

also consider replaceing o rings as they wear out, or after every game

think of them as "consumeable" like bbs and gas

my broomhandles great , ive only ever had 1 mag for it but with a stripdown every now and again its great
