Just wondering if its possible to purchase the fabric itself rather than the made up item anywhere. I've not seen it on ebay and I'm either not asking google the right question yet
or its not available.
Anyone know ?

I know modern cam fabrics are easily available on the roll.
My neighbour makes clothes she might have some sources but you probably have to buy a fair bit.
You could email 'flectarn.co.uk' to ask where they get their splinter and tan and water?
They might not say but it cant hurt to ask.

"I think we are in rats' alley - Where the dead men lost their bones."
Yeah I think it may be necs, its all part of a cunning master plan
I shall go through a few other fabricaters of clothing and email them too me thinks

Might be an idea to email Sanjay at Replicaters, he may be able to help.
Other than that, you're only other option is to find someone who deals with an Indian company called Depeeka. They sell WW2 camo fabric to the trade, but not directly to the general public.

I'll send a message to some friends of mine who studied fashion, one of them did a Army related fashion collection at one point if I recall.
.5 mil black latex.
You have to glue and reinforce loadbearing parts, its a pig to stitch can be done but you have to glue the stitching anyay so its not worth it.
Cost me about £7 to make and they retail in the same pattern for over £100
Going to stick it on ebay at some point and see how it goes.
Its very 'hostel' if you've seen the film.
