Is it doable? I only ask as looking through a few books I see pictures of soldiers in what looks like lightweight tunics of a pailer almost olive drab colour. Hard to tell what cut they are as im not up on that stuff. I also happen to prefer the look of underwoods DAK tunic over his HBT's, even if i had to change the insignia.

Ta in advance.

A mixture of temperate and tropical clothing was worn on the boundaries of the med. Italy, Greece, southern France etc

Yes Graeme, the DAK wore tropical, as did other units, particularly in Italy, south of France, etc.

Certainly though, "normal" HBTs would be suitable for any theatre - except possibly Africa! HBTs look fantastic when they're a bit faded. I know you don't get much sun up in Scotland  but if you got HBTs and left them on a washing line for a couple of weeks, come rain and shine, they would soon look marvellous.

You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier
