Hi guys,

I bought a canvas belt from SOF a few days ago and it says its size 30"-36", and me being a 34" means there should be plenty of room. However, got it today and it doesn't fit.

Am I supposed to alter it in some way to get it to fit? If so I'm guessing all I need to do is unstitch and move the leather strap around slightly so that it fits properly, is that right?

Ta.

I`d measure it first to make sure they sent you the right size. Having to unstitch a belt to adjust it seems very drastic, can you post a pic of it?

Hi Snyper

Are you talking about the thin webbing trouser belt with the even thinner, long leather tongue with the holes in? If so, when you do it up you need to pull it so that the webbing ends of the belt actually overlap each other. I have a similar belt, and a similar waist size - and the belt fits fine - mine is 38.5 inches long - that's just the webbing part of the belt - if yours is the same it should be OK. You certainly shouldn't have to take it to bits - :D
