Landser.

Simple, and straight to the point!

When we were a Kingdom it was run by a King
When we were an Empire it was run by an Empress
Now we're a country we're run by a..........

Yay, some people are thinking!

Spitzenkompanie sounds good. (Spitzen-Höschen means lace panties but I'm guessing HG meant Spitzenkompanie as leader/sharp/top-flight company!)

Frontalangriff! is nice as a logo, can have some fun in the field using it as a rallying call.

Eisen Kreuz? Eisernes Kreuz gives plenty of opportunity for sig bannner design and is suitably non-specific.

Schwache Esel - poor fool?

Going back to Andy's original suggestion Army Group Centre which looks better in German - Heeresgruppe Mitte

Why don't you affilaite or nick an existing re-enactment group name such as Windhund or Gross Deutschland, and as this hobby evolves it gives you the potential to invite them to your events and thus get more people interested in ww2 airsoft. I also think FJ's sould be seperate and form their own group, just my pound coin's worth.

Right, decision time. I think "Landser" is probably the best title - it's simple and inclusive. The group will be a place for like-minded individuals to portray various Heer units. At this stage, I don't see any particular commitment is required, or any special training days - many of us have done plenty of training anyway. If people would like to organise things like photoshoots, then fire away - but this is primarily an airsofting outfit and nothing else. :)

Chommers - please go ahead and create a Landser section. Thanks. :)
