Sorry, Fritz, but I mean US ones.
In many movies and pictures of the 29th ID, the blue and grey 'yin yang'-type symbol can be see on the front of the helmet. I was just wondering if anyone knew just how common these were, and if it was worth getting one on my helmet?






I believe that putting rank stripes and unit insignia on your helmet was quite rarely done during the war, but they did do it. I have the Big Red 1 Patch decal on the front of my helmet, no harm in putting the 28th 1 on ![]()
