I've just bought a pair on M43 HBT trousers from Ant-Z. While I'm very happy with them I need to do something with the buttons - it's festooned with super-shiny super-farby black plastic buttons. The button holes are too big to use zinced trousers buttons - what do you thng of replacing them with Urea buttons - ATF sell these. Any other ideas or links ?

Also the straps at the bottom of the leg confuse me - there is a single zinc button on each, but too close to the strap end to narrow the trouser bottom - i've had a look around and they all seem to be like this - i was thinking of adding a second button further away from the strap end...

I would sew up the button holes so zinc-stylee buttons fit.

Not exactly sure what you mean about the strap bits. They sound different to my older Ant-z ones. Photo ?

You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier

Hi Steiner... see the photo below...Does that help ?

If there was a second button an inch or two to the left that would make perfect sense. I'm not being anal, i can easily sew a second button on. it's just that the only ref material i've got (Deutsche Soldaten - p52) shows exactly the same arrangement. Am I missing something ?-- attachment is not available --

Mine have the button to the left, so you could if you want to.
