Received today a bloody lovely panzer officers side cap (thanks kermit) but i need to put some insignia on it.

It comes with a cockade and i know where to put the national eagle i have.

My query though is should there not be a pink 'chevron' around the cockade?

It looks like this.

But should it look like this: (i have some spare pink piping to sew this in)

Can't help you on your query Gadge but you are looking a bit poorly there - after effects of the op no doubt.

After November 1942 this ceased to be the case, but alas like a lot of other rules and reg's it was often ignored.

your customisation my Friend :)
