There used to be a page on this site explaining how to do this but I can't find it any more. Can anyone point me in the right direction as I need to help out someone on a very tight budget to put a German loadout together.

Yes, there used to be an article by Kermit on the original web site - I'll see if I can resurrect it....

If it can't be found, I'm sure Helga can point you in the right direction

Yes - perfick.

It's not for me Kav, it's for some guys who are coming to Haggard as an introduction to airsoft and don't want to spend three hundred quid on kit.

When he first posted that up, there wasn't a link - just taking the mickey a bit out of a perceived mistake.

All cool. You know my personal adage by now anyway; Never Spend £30 When £300 Will Do

So what is needed in the way of "conversion"? Is it simply sewing on litzen or do I need to get medieval with the needle & thread?

As I understood it, don't you have to remove some pockets from the rear of the skirt? Other than that I think they're spot-on. Does anyone have a link (other than sabre) for where to get on, I wouldn't mind having a pop at it.

skirt?

??!!!

Actually I probably only need the trews now as I already have an M40 tunic, pea dot tunic and an oakleaf panzer wrap. I can hopefully rent all the field gear from Warren.

Bit more to it that than for a swedish to M40 conversion, but its not overly complicated and a cheaper option for the looks as solution. Main difference besides moving pockets and a button hole, is that theres a seam on the rear of the Swedish tunics, which can be replaced or not with fabric from a Swedish greatcoat.

Oh and colours slightly different shade of field green

Oooh moving pockets is starting to sound a bit beyond my ability. It would look as if the wind blew them on. Maybe I just put some Litzen on and wear it under a smock or peadot ??
