Oh I dunno. I don't see this as an unreasonable request. I would almost be willing to bet that there is a remote possibility that just maby there may be one or two ppl who frequent both forums. Or is that a bit unrealistic ?
You're probably quite right, Jetta. However, I wouldn't expect to get a reply to an airsoft question on the reenactment forum.

Yeah, the black leather stand up collar type. After a repro. Just would have thought that with all the kit people buy someone would know who does good leather jackets!

There are not so many good reports of the single breasted type.
Soldier of Fortune have one and there is a Chinese version.
I have no idea on the quality of either, they are not a common item for panzer crew or u boat so don't get worn that much.

It's not really just an engine room jacket.
They were worn by deck crew as well, especially the peacoat and panzer wrap style they were more an officer thing.
The issue coat for U-boats was the single breasted number with stand up collar. They are the type the 12th SS pinched.
