So i ordered a set of HEER helmet decals,it looked great and i loved it! but soon the problem comes while i was at a rainny day game, the decals were washed off by the rain!

I guess since these things were water transferable, when ever the helmet gets wet, they'l come off?

Are there any solution to this?

This is related to something I asked about - you're supposed to use a clear lacquer over the decals. Tape around the decal so as not to get the lacquer on the helmet, then spray the lacquer (Plastikote something - I'm not sure which type, been trying to find out) over the decals, 3 or 4 thin layers. That should keep them on OK.

I used the Games Workshop matt liquid varnish which is acrylic I think. Worked OK!

Thanks for the info Warner, will give it a try ASAP.
Just one concern, aren't acrylic water based? Wouldn't they get washed off slowly?

P.S. : That gave me an idea, maybe it washes off slowly and then creates a aging effect  !

Acrylics use water as the carrier - once it's evaporated it's waterproof to all intents and purposes. Otherwise get a solvent based aerosol from B&Q & hope it doesn't dissolve the print (light dust coat to seal first, let dry, then add further layers).

Humbrol matt spray laquer, spray the helmet where the decals are going to go, leave 24 hrs, apply decals, as they may have water trapped under them leave a few days to dry, then laqurer over them, a light coat to begin with & leave a few hours to dry, then do the whole helmet, a few light coats, the stuff is very durable, don't spray a heavy coat on the decals to beging with or the decal will melt & bubble,
