Mainly looking for the Airborne guys for this but Infantry loadouts as well. If you've got a loadout and you fancy taking a pic for the thread (lets face it you're going to have a pic or two lying around) pop it on here and we could critique each others kit. Just think it's an idea and people might see something which they hadn't thought of getting and think things like 'Ah! So that's what I'm missing!' And they'll all be in one place so you don't have to scroll through 100's of posts on the General Kit Pic Thread trying to see what people look like.
See it all makes sense!
For example: Headshot could post his 'Soggy in Wales' Loadout which is very impressive.
I'll get mine posted up tomorrow and we'll see how many people answer the call!

Yeh just like that, except not just the one, I mean everyone's different representations of how they think it should look.
Webby's picture looks a lot different to Screaming Eagles. So they can look at those pictures and for instance say 'Ah I didn't think of a parachute silk scarf, that can be my next bit of kit I get.' Then you could refer them on to the kit guide page to find where to get it...except I don't think that a Parachute silk scarf is on the kit guide is it?
Screaming Eagle: Awesome chest rig. Get some mags in those pouches to bulk em out a bit. Looks great though...just don't ACTUALLY deck anyone with a shovel...it's not cricket haha

I have just got my double 5-cell chest rig, and the 10x 190 rounder mags to fill em
Heh, you'll only be allowed to carry three of those out with you at a CiA game though.
I will say that you all need to get your kit dirty and never wash it. Wear what's comfortable and what works, not necessarily what's on a computer game or tv show. EG: Have you tried shouldering your gun with that medic pouch there Screamineagle?
Here's my kit thoroughly used at the end of Churchill's Revenge (again):

I would carry all of them, but only keep 3 of them loaded up. Pads out the pouches afterall
Cracking photo HS. You look knackered. Are you going to Husky? Airborne?
Somebody get in touch with the e-company boys to post their pictures, they all match! Infact you can see it on the group photo from D Day...

He's the CO dude
Yes, I hope so because, chances are, I'll be organising it with my fellow Comrades in Arms.......
See, the clue is in my avatar where it says 'Comrades in Arms Organiser'.
That'd make even more sense. Sorry mate, didn't know that all you Organisers were involved with every game. Either way great stuff.
If anyone's got any suggestions for my kit then please don't hesitate I'm looking at getting some more gear soon and I'm not sure what to get.

Screaming Eagle, just looked at your pics mate again, as I was only looking quickly in work before...you appear to have a spoon sticking out of your jumpsuit. Can I suggest you stow that...it's just a suggestion if you like that look then go for it!

Oh well heres one, even though i left my bandolier & e-tool at home on this picture. .
screamin eagle may i surgest turn your spoon upside down in your pocket,so just a bit of the handle is sticking out from the top, then you will not loss it,or put it in your bag and the rope put under the musset bag easier to get and out of the way,up to you dude, looking garand:wink:

It don't bother me, I'll be standing next to you not in front. Although I hear beating someone with your helmet is more in fashion.

If you have the rope underneath your musette pack, its easy to feed the straps through the loops at the end, where the suspenders clip onto the pack. I usually hang it from 1 side and let it dangle, (like in my pic) I have seen it with the rope put the top of the pack, so the ends stick out of both sides. Lots of different ways,... theres hooked onto the gas bask bag too, onto the belt and tied at the knee,... whichever is most comfortable.
Can anyone suggest anything which they think that my loadout is lacking?

An 82nd Airborne patch! haha!
Do you have a cricket, e-tool, drop rope, compass, throat knife, gloves, leg knife etc etc
hey come on, im getting a 101st patch for Josh's Carantan event hehe
How do you carry your thompson mags at the mo Alex?
Considered getting an M1 Garand or something... you can get a rifleman rig, rather than a thompson 1
canteen, ammo bag, or another 5 cell mag pouch like i've got on the suspenders, M3 trench knife the one that normally gets strapped to your leg.
I'm currently sourcing the parts for my Mae West, trying to get hold of the guy with the Canvas for it is hard, he's always bloody out! Anyway, I could do with another mag pouch possibly but I've got an entrenching tool, it's just round the back of my belt and I wear my musette bag on my waist with a strap to carry ammo, because the last 2 games I've been wearing the radio on my back.
And as for the M3 Knife...I really begrudge paying that much for one. I don't really have that much money to slig around at the moment anyway, with being in uni.

I carry my Thompson mags in a 5 cell mag pouch on my waist, been looking for another because apparently it's inaccurate (used by the 503rd not the 506th) because it stores them the wrong way round.
Ah Webby my friend, but I hath converted my M14 in to a M1 Tanker, looks pretty good too for my first attempt! Will have to get some pictures up! I'm doing a Springfield at the moment, scope and mags in the post.
I might get a cricket though, that seems like a mighty fine idea...I was under the impression that not a lot of the Airborne wore the wrist compasses.
Could do with some gloves too...
