Stupid thing is if I'd stood the other way it would've looked fine!
It's hard as hell to find goggles like them on the web!

The nearest I can find are these

Minus the tinted lenses they're very similar to the ones I've got that you can have...
If you want them sooner rather than later (At Husky) then let me know and I'll post em.

I am getting the ones used in Hannibal Rising they will have to do.

I decided it's easier to change the lenses in a rubber-fronted pair than WW2 dated metal ones.
I have some lexan I can fit in them if I think they need it.

Oddball,
The goggles are British 'night vision' goggles IIRC. They're similar to Dispatch rider goggles except for the tinted lenses.
They're not impossible to find but are getting ridiculous prices on Ebay.
I've managed to pick some up a few years ago, they need a good coat of preservative to get the leather to go soft again.
The types of goggles used by US tank crews from start to finish are the:
- M1938 Tanker Goggles "Resistal". Expensive and hard to find.[/*:m:107e7lmd]
- Type 1021 Polaroid Goggles. Foam frame, single lens, pretty common. You see these in pictures of Normandy a lot.[/*:m:107e7lmd]
- M1943 Disposable Goggles. Pliable, leather frames, tend to dry out, but findable and cheap. Also in Normandy footage and pictures[/*:m:107e7lmd]
- M1944 Goggles, cheap, easy to find (post-war ones), but only used at the very end of the war. 2 pictures I know of are from Italy and Germany. A local historian claims he has a pair left behind in a Sherman tank by a British crewmember at Eerde during Market Garden which I doubt very much.[/*:m:107e7lmd]
- Various pilot goggles in early pictures.[/*:m:107e7lmd][/list:u:107e7lmd]

Looks more like the Brit actor who played Floyd Talbert from BoB I would say.

hmmm.....Thats a tricky one. Mine was £40 from Holland via ebay. Just checked his store though and they've got nothing on it.
Epic are selling them for £44 though
Well SOF have them for £39.99, I just begrudge buying stuff off them because most of the stuff you get off them is wrong in some way or another, whether it be the wrong colour, faded, broken, missing a part, strap, buckle etc. after a while it just grinds a bit lol I was hoping to get one for slightly less however I don't think I'm going to get anywhere.
