As alway I'd like to get a good photo of the Airborne huys for this one, we won't be stopping for lunch and will be eating in the field as far as I am aware so I'd like to get a shot before we head off in the morning.
We've got quite a good turn out for this one, plenty of guys (and Anne) :good: and it would be great it we could get a photo.
With so many people being there at Husky looked great and there were only 13 in that one, I think with 17 it could look even better.

Major Stephen 'Headshot' Badham - E Co/2nd BN/505th PIR/82nd ABN
Matt Webb (Webby) - US 82nd Airborne
Alex Birch (Spiers) - US Airborne
Nigel Kerr (Oddball) - US
Dean Armistead (Lipton) - US 82nd Airborne
Barrie Quin (Barrie and Anne) - US Airborne
Anne Quin (Barrie and Anne) - US Airborne
Doug McCarthy (armourerdoug) - US Airborne Medic
Jon Steele (jonsteele) - US Airborne
Rupert Brookes (Rupe) - US Airborne
Jonathan Limebear - US Airborne
Steve Ashworth (SgtAsh) - US Airborne
Iain Kier - US 82nd Airborne
Matt Keilty (biguk) - US Airborne
Jonathan Knight (juliet kilo) - US Airborne
John West (taffyjohn) - US Airborne
James Tansley (meandog) - US Airborne

Hope you will all be willing to be in it and if anyone wants a copy after the event then all they have to do is PM me and I will email a copy.

On another note, I was hoping to do about 10 minutes of filming at the end and was wondering whether there were four or five people willing to get involved with that as well? If you are then let me know and I will PM you with more details.

I might not be available in the morning. Your best bet would be to get a photo in the field as everyone will be there.

As for filming in the evening, there's a good chance it'll be getting dark by the time we finish so you might need to do it another time.

I reckon this is about as many Airborne guys as we've had all together at one time. Well get a group photo done in the morning just after briefing. Going to have to really squish in with there being 22 of us!!!
Should be a great shot, and as usual contact me after the game and I will be happy to send you a copy. Must say the one at Husky looked brilliant, it hangs on my wall fooling people lol

Will try and get this photo done in the morning if everyone's happy with that! If we leave it til the end the light won't be very good and it's going to be a pucka photo with the number of people we've got.

Don't worry, I'll make sure I get hold of everyone and like I said PM me the following day and I will have a nicely aged version of the photo to send you all.

Sounds good, I'd like a decent picture - lets try and get one without glasses & masks.

I'm happy to help out with the filming too if you want.

There was no glasses or masks last time at Husky, it looks terrible with them on.

Filming postponed due to bad conditions - it won't be light enough for what I want to do.

on the subject of 1930s cameras, does anyone know where to get 620 film (for an old kodak camera i have), or is it well and truly extinct???

Its not too much of a problem - if you have a spare empty spool you can try this trick with 120 film http://www.brownie-camera.com/respool/respool.shtml
There is an American supplier of the film too, I'll look out a link - used to be able to get it in the UK too...

re-spooling is the best way. Either that or buy a cheap brownie (or similar) that takes 120 :good:
