Off to Bexley in the morning, Beth's Grammar School, don't know what to expect, hopefully find some much wanted goodies, in spares, etc. Anyone else been before?
Doors open at 09:00, apparently it's a good fair on occasion, they even do a raffle, not that I want anything M4 related!
Not a bad little fair, a good turn out, mostly modern stuff of course, picked up a few spares, barrels, deans connectors, a bag full of motors! Then found a little gem that I have been looking for! An M14 gearbox, with motor and switchgear........£5!
This is the catalyst that will start me on a WW2 era wood stocked weapon, now have to decide what I'm going for, I like the idea of Tokarev svt 40, or beretta.
Bought some bits for my Ak47's too, not that anyone here would care not being pre 1945, but I like em!

An svt-40 would be nice

I have collected some pics for the Svt, but would really need to get close to a de- ac or something to get measuments right, £370 or so would get me one, but that's a lot for a copy pattern!
I shall just collect together everything I think I need, bathe maybe pester someone or a museum for a " sizing up"
I hate this predictive text!
Just put a battery on the M14 gear box.........it's alive!!! (my best dr Frankenstien quote)
Zeta Labs were promising an SVT 40 ... then they went out of business.
I won't promise an SVT then, .......in case I go out of business!
