hello,
I am from Slovakia. WW2 airsoft is here thing we would like to begin with, but we have no idea how to begin? In Slovakia there is a big forum about airsoft, but it is only about airsoft and not about ww2 airsoft. We started there a topic about WW2 airsoft in slovakia and many people answered, that they would like to do it too... so we are now about 30 people. It is a very new thing here... So I would like to know how you started in UK? How many were you at the begin and so on... thank you very much... I hope slovaks will travel to UK on WW2 airsoft actions... :)
P.S. sorry for my english...

Hi Jenk, welcome!

You have started the right way - by establishing if there is a demand. If you now have 30 people interested then the answer is yes!

The problem we found was there were a lot of people interested but didn't want to buy WW2 kit because there were no games to go to. And there were no games to go to because only a few people had WW2 kit!

So, get yourself a small game organised - it doesn't have to be too ambitious. Take loads of photos and make sure everyone in your airsoft community sees them - your small group will grow and grow.

It will take a lot of your time and a lot of work to get the WW2 thing going but it is possible. Tip - don't do it by yourself, start a small organising group of four or five people.

Excellent English by the way! Hope it goes well for you and look forward to playing with Slovakian WW2 airsofters soon!

thank you for your answers
... I think this is a great tip
... we have arranged to make a game next season so about in march because there are many people, me too, whose don't have a complete uniform so this winter we have time to get our uniforms... now I know what I will get on Christmas :D
... There is one other question: How is it in UK with 18- players... Because in slovakia it is not directly forbidden... so i want to ask: Do you allow 18- players to play? I am asking, because there are about 7 18- players, whose want to do ww2 airsoft too... thank you for yours reply

Age limit is usually dictated by the site that you are playing at. My local one is 13+. Many are 16+. Some are 18+.

You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier

I think I don't understand this... does it mean that if I am playing for example as axis so I can be 13 but if I am playing f.e. as allied I have to be 18? thx

In the UK running about with imitation weapons isn't allowed everywhere so we play at organised and insured airsoft sites which are placed over the UK.

Each site has it's own rules for age limits. Some allow over 12years, some over 16 and a few over 18 years old. As we organise our own games at airsoft skirmish sites we have to abide by the rules of the site where we are holding the event.

So both Axis and Allied sides would have to be over 16, for example.
