Saipan they used the green camo side or a mix of green camo an sage. For places like the Tarawa atol they went for all sand camo, as the island was just a big assed beach! Interestingly enough, at iwo jima the only bit of camo the marines appeared to be using was the beach colour side of rhe helmet cover. Pics from okinowa, which was the last major conflict for the marines, they appear to be in sages with no helmet cover at all.

There's a bloke selling three on ebay. I think he's got some M1 Garand belts as well
