Can someone tell me where you can pick up one of these vests from pls and would you also wear 38 belt order with the vest?

Theres a guy on Ebay doing repros of them-not cheap.

Think he is called HTC reproductions or something similar

That particular vest it is a cut-down/modified version (see taffParas ebay link) of the standard Battle Jerkin (think D-Day - see above post by Yith) which itself was designed to be a replacement to 37patt webbing, rather than an accompaniment to it. These 'lightened' skeleton versions are really rather rare (real/period/non-repro ones) to be seen used and were not supplied in any great number unlike the Battle Jerkin (which most soldiers soon discarded after a short period of wearing it!)

could alos try Motion Picture Props they sometimes have rather esoteric stuff available
