I have my shiny new CiA membership card - will I receive notice of my AFRA membership?

Yes, if you have filled in the form, paid up and supplied a photo then Guy will have that in hand.

PS He's been way this week celebrating some occasion or another...

Yep -apologies Andy/ B&A - I was hoping to do them all as a batch and have been waiting for other CiA members. A certain gent is sending me some photos and then I'll be mailing it all off to AFRA .

Hmm, should probably do it for myself too.

BTW everyone, as part of the formalisation of CiA into a club we're in the process of setting up a bank account so you'll be able to send money via a transfer or by cheque for event fees and AFRA membership directly to the CiA coffers pretty soon.

As stated previously, CiA will remain a not-for-profit organisation but the bank account will make things more official and 'separate' from the personal PayPal and bank accounts that have been used thus far.

Guys, are the AFRA forms available online yet? If not how do I get my mits on one?

Cheers.

“I wanted to come to the Volga at a specific location at a specific city. By chance it carries the name of Stalin himself. So don’t think I marched there for this reason – it could carry another name – but because there is a very important goal... this goal I wanted to take – and you know – we are very modest, we have it already."
Adolf Hitler, November 1942

"Comrades, Red Army men, commanders and political workers, men and women guerrillas! It is on your perseverance, staunchness, fighting skill and readiness to discharge your duty to the country that the defeat of the German-fascist army and the liberation of the Soviet land from the Hitlerite invaders depend! We can and must clear the Soviet land of Hitlerite vermin."

Digital photos are fine:
Head and shoulders as per normal passport photos (not holiday snaps of you on the beach in Benedorm) sent as JPEG. A blurry grabbed camera phone snap won't do.

For those that want to be technical then 35mm x 45mm @ 300dpi will be fine
and here are the passport office guidelines which may give some pointers
http://www.ips.gov.uk/passport/apply-ph ... ndards.asp

No need for period gear - a normal photo as for any ID card please.
Send to: membership@ww2airsoft.org.uk

I'll send you payment details by PM Leigh...
