As you will have no doubt noticed there is an exciting new project under way.

Yith and Gadge, both in the founding group that created Comrades in Arms, have decided to push the WW2 Airsoft envelope a bit further.

They have stepped down from CiA to concentrate their time on their new project - Poor Bloody Infantry. Yith, Gadge, Dieselmonkey and Major are building a specialist group raising the profile of British and Commonwealth WWII units. While the Axis player base has grown rapidly in the past year, British forces are now under-represented and PBI intends to boost interest and activity to restore the balance.

With a focused eye for detail, strong knowledge of the period and unbridled enthusiasm they are determined to build a force to be reckoned with!

They will pull in many aspects of re-enacting while still retaining the fun element that makes airsofting what it is and organise games that focus on the kit, tactics and battles of the hard pressed British Tommy in every theatre of the Second World War.

Comrades in Arms fully supports their endeavours and looks forward to the mutual benefit a revitalised British force will bring. Yith and Gadge will both continue to be CiA forum moderators. CiA have provided a dedicated area on the forum for PBI activity and will also give practical and moral support to their venture.

Comrades in Arms currently comprises Chomley-Warner, HeadShot, Kermit and Old ‘Un who will continue with not only supporting and building the UK WW2 airsoft community but also organising a rolling program of WW2 themed events for 2008.
