Good man.
Yes, that's what happens in reality - Southern Group are doing it in force this weekend! As Yith stills plays quite a bit at open days he does stir up quite a bit of interest (except when he is in his tropical shorts
and that does WW2 airsoft no favours
)
I've also seem odd bods playing in WW2 gear at sites across the country completely oblivious that there is a national organisation/community/games structure. Generally they are not interweb/forum surfers and don't read the airsoft mag!

And I'll love to have joined steiner and the boys for that, work says otherwises. The last open day had a chap in 101st kit and very good it was as well. so I spread the word and am trying to get some of my mates into the fold. My arguement has always been, if every one is dressed in DMP/multicam, its a pain tryng to figure out whos on which side. WW2 kit, no such problems. I got such a good reception on here from day one, it really spurred me on to go to a game and meet every one.

i have 3 mates who i introduced to airsoft and they love it,,,, i hope that once the newness of it wears off a bit they will be looking for ww2 , they have shown an interest, and i see it as my duty to nerchure this lol.
I would have been waering my new full para loadout this weekend if SOF hadnt sent me some faulty stuff, but i like to play in WW2 kit to encourage others and it works someone at Haggard told me they remembered me in my WW2 gear at my local site, also Pilgrimtone wanted to see my Para kit but he cant now lol
As a follow on to this discussion a basic British Airborne section is now live in the kit guide menu...

Id like to see a Brit commando loadout. If thats at all possible.
The cheapo basic loadout is the same... swap the helmet/maroon beret for a green one.
Good points you two - I've amended the title to Brit: Basic Impression and made note of headgear variations

Ive rented alot of kit out to guys going to other sites to play (wierdly as chommers said, only a few uniforms at our own stuff) You can always point them in my direction for basic rental kit £20 full load out with £50 deposit!
Heer Schmidt
the only thing i need for my south staffs is boots and gaitors,,, if i cant get any before my first game as airlanding i will wear british assualt boots and 53 patt puttees .
All I need is ammo boots and 37pat BD trousers.
