I have a good friend who teaches stage combat and European martial arts

Hes after a budget fairbairn sykes in a ww2 pattern for demonstrations. He would blunten it but one that came blunt would be nice.

Now I know this is a kind of wanted thread item but I need the experts views.

so Where should he go.

I have googled and found a few from £470ish pounds all the way to £150.
all have one type of pommel I have heard that early ones were more rounded
but whats best?

Btw is there any rubber FS but with a fairly solid "blade" and dense, heavy handle? The one I have is too light and the "blade" is pretty much like paper, literally, it can be curled into a roll and will not stay straight. I understand it's safe and all but I'd like something more substantial...

I have a small skewer hidden in the collar of my jumping jacket, and a razorblade in my gaiter, as well as my knife.

I have one, they are good but the blade will bend

"Will you stop talking about the war!!"
"What, you started it!"
"We did NOT start it!"
"Yes you did, you invaded Poland..."

Really? Where does it say that? It says to ring them up for international shipping quotes. Field werks do have problems with their international basket according to the website.

If it was posted by USPS it would be much cheaper, probably only $15-$30.
When I used USPS for some Vietnam gear that weighed about 4kg it was still only $50 with their express service.

Perhaps - using the automated checkout gives you $79 + $1 handling fee

Wow, the $1 handling fee really is the icing on the cake lol. When I tried it said that it wouldn't send to my specified location.
