So here we are, big event, loads of allies to shot at, awesome site!

Where are the bloody Germans?

Its bad enough the community had to cancel so many events this year as it is, but to have guys either sitting in the wings or just not interested is bizzar!

I don't normally advertise outside of this forum and a splattering on my own, but ill have to go outside of the community soon which means the guys that usually play Germans may well miss out on another awesome event!

Hells Highway is a total goer, but I will have to cap the Allied bookings now until the Germans get stuck in.

What's your reasons for not supporting the organisers? I've set up a poll to see where were at.

Well I have been looking forward to this one and there is a chance I will be able to make it, but unfortunately my van has been off the road for a month, lost work, van hire and repair bills means I'm already a grand out of pocket with more to shell out as I now realise I am going to have to invest in another van. So sorry Josh I will make it if I can but depends on how much work I get in the next month and how cheap I can find a replacement van.

Good luck with it, if you can get some more Germans should be epic :good:

I'm a noob, but myself and two or three of my mates are going to sign up for this as German's. Just trying to work out exactly how many of us are up for it. We're all experienced at Paintball, but this feel's like a step up!

I can't make HH this year (clashes with my wifes birthday) but the big Autumn game is one I look forward to. I usually play as British for this one so it wouldn't really help with German numbers...

Going to Hochwerk (Cold War) as an acceptable substitute instead.

Cheers
Martin

I am afraid I can't resist the lure of getting the familiar old DPM and SLR out again.

Real life circumstances mean I can't attend anything at the moment.

I haven't voted as I don't want to give the impression that I have anything other than a keen desire to attend as many games as possible, but I can sympathise totally with the first two categories, particularly the second which combined with the cancellation of at least four events I was planning on attending this year means I haven't been to as many events as I would have hoped this year.

I do, however, have to question the third category for if you have lost interest why are you still looking at this site and bothering to vote?!

Odd.

Cheers

I wondered that too!

I'm too short of time this year to attend much, this game included. A very easy site to get to though and I do urge players to get there if they can.

I note that there are three big groups of US players booked plus one group of Brits which will always skew things as Josh's German groups seem to have disappeared and the 16thSS group disbanded a long time ago - so Germans now, largely, attend and ones, twos and threes. Chuck into that all the other games Josh runs that pulls players away from WW2 (chaps can't do everything and generally look for something 'new') and a lack of player interaction (the days of throwing up a game and screaming at folk to book has long gone - AGS pulls in the German players and are interactive) mean getting player numbers is tough!

Well I've booked on as Germans; my first ever event!

I ideally want to opt for a British impression; but since this is my first time out, I bit the bullet. There should be at least two more of my mates booking on; though convincing them to play Jerry may be an issue. :)

Send them this way. We've had all of the arguments many times and can convince anyone to go German.

Unfortunately CGS have been going through quite a few location and career upheavals this year that getting enough people together and in one place has been quite impossible. Which is a shame as at full strength we can easily fill a zug and then some.

mean getting player numbers is tough!

We see the same thing in Belgium & in Germany. So, it's not only a 'UK-thing'.

I think it's a combination of the three mentioned options. One occasion no time, the other no money to spend (on airsoft) and the third; a (temporarily) lack of interest.
