Looks like the membership has hit the first milestone - 100 members!

Onwards and upwards I say, and may the forums continue to be the happy and helpful place it has become.

When we were a Kingdom it was run by a King
When we were an Empire it was run by an Empress
Now we're a country we're run by a..........

Thanks, I'm glad to find a fellow Sven Hassel fan. I've fancied doingWW2 airsoft for ages now, having quit "normal" airsoft because of the high cap toting idiots that seem to inhabit most sites these days. As an ex soldier, I think it's laughable to see people carting 3000 odd rounds with them and then talking about "realism".

I'm going for an SS setup (more Gucci camo than Heer!) and hope to put enough kit together to start playing at the June event, so, hopefully, I'll be seeing you guys real soon.

Wheels of terror? Unfortunately I have. Poor casting and pretty disappointing. Should have got Pekinpah to do it! I personally think "the bloody road to death" is the most cinematic of Hassels' books, the chapter "Darjeeling tea" still makes me laugh, about 20 years after first reading it!

I've got the vid of WoT , it's .....not as bad as people make put given it was made in the 80's .....
GR I'll try to remember to bring it to Arnhem is you like . I liked SS General , enjoyable bollox all round , and Blitzfrieze, especially the bit with the Oberwatchmeister and the meat used to kill me laughing as a kid.

I'd say reenact it , but we woud all be Der Alte now
