You say that... but I don't do Aussie!

I have been investigating though (as I have a VERY nice pair of 1945 dated AB Boots to use sometime), but all I've come up with so far is US HBTs as well. I am aware that the Aussies seem to have their own type of trousers, mind... Different from both the Brit Jungle Greens and the US HBTs.

I have Brit JGs, the best place to get mid war ones from is replicaters.

Kinda Along these lines but does anyone know what troops in India would have worn 39/40.

KD service dress; Maybe shorts (Bombay Bloomers) and KD shirt; Pith Helmets: Cawnpore Pattern I think, not Wolsley. Putees and ammo boots

Shorts ain't too bad. I've done it three times so far. No problems.

Bombay bloomers do fold down into full legs as well.

Biggest problem is that as far as I know nobody makes repro cawnpore helmets...

Chindit I can help with a LOT. :)

Chindits only wore bush hats. (aka slouch hats). They didn't wear helmets. The pics you might see of troops with helmets are not chindits. :)

http://www.replicaters.com/

Best to view with Internet Explorer not Firefox. Loads of links are broken and stuff is incomplete, but Replicater's site has always been like that!
