If you ever get a few days off work (yeah, fat chance of that!) try and get down to Essaouira, and see what the *old* Morocco looks like, one of my relatives owns a place down there, says it is completely different from places like Marakesh.

Join a re-enactment group... preferably one with a good rep... then they may just approach the group and you may get some interest.
Our group has been approached once for a documentary, though it didn't come to anything.
Oh... and we were also approached for "Wife Swap"... Suffice to say being the only married person in the group... I said "NO".
My brother-in-law has been in several episodes of Brookside and Coronation Street. He did it through an agency... This was before he got a proper job.
Suppose it depends what the wife to swap looked like...
basically you need to get a copy of the Knowledge (film and tv contacts) maybe your library could order it, for you as its £120 per year i think these days!!
look under extras/supporting artists agencies and give em a ring mate
