all the way to the doors of the Fuhrer Bunker itself.

Kermit & Guy drowning their sorrows

And that would be different from normal in what way?

Thinking about it a bit more, a Battle for Berlin event - provided you had the right site - would be truly awesome. Serious amounts of pyro to set the scene, hordes of Ruskies advancing on the desperate defenders, some tracked armour (hey, I can dream!), tank hunter teams armed with 'shrecks and 'fausts, some old Volksturm (thats C-W sorted ;) ) getting in the way, the fight to the last round of ammunition (then its out with the E-tools  )

Quite possibly the ultimate event?

When we were a Kingdom it was run by a King
When we were an Empire it was run by an Empress
Now we're a country we're run by a..........

Do we get to argue for the next 60 years over the location of Guy's skull?

The idea of a chronological series of battles is very appealing, but from an organiser's point of view would be quite restrictve if you had to hunt for a site that represented the next specific location in your list of battles.

However, as has been said, finally getting the Ruskies off the ground, it opens up a massive series of scenarios possible, in just about any type of terrain: the woods of Poland, the wheatfields of the Ukraine, the battles for many cities - Brest-Litovsk, Kharkov, Rostov, Stalingrad - from the Baltic to the Black Sea, the Caucasus hills, etc, etc, etc. And with the encirclement manoeuvers (by both sides), the possibility of small groups being trapped behind lines was very common. Almost endless scenarios! 8)
