.... appearances in films ![]()
I was chatting to him recently and discovered he was in Band of Brothers and Saving Private Ryan. Sadly you cant see him in BoB but I think I've tracked down who he is in SPR by his description

He was saying that the stunt involved him being thrown in the air. As shown in this little gif (
7.3MB) you can see it was quite a throw!
I can see why you said it was painful now Major ![]()
No longer involved in airsoft.
How comical, Che is on the phone to him as I opened that message.
Cool pic
question is, is that him ? ![]()

I think he said he got blew up quite a bit in SPR.
Well get him to ask the old git then helga.

I think thats him from the description he gave me. I could have got it wrong tho ![]()

Hehe, I've heard that before about Major, I remember the scene vividly! I'd love to do summat like that, how does one go about it?
Great gif too, Diggz - Major should have it as his sig (sorry for suggesting it CM!!)

Nah he`s not ugly enough ![]()

"Matt Deamon"
Sorry Team ammerica joke.
So major is the only man I know that has been blown
by matt deamon. Nice, Err I think.

Those of you who remember Bratwurstdimsum, or Jeff Ooi, who was an Malaysian descended Aussie who reenacted as a German, might be interested to know that he recently worked as an extra on the shoot of the next version of Band of Brothers by Hanks/Spielberg which is to be set in the Pacific Theatre.
Good work there Major!!
RE: How does one go about this? Sign up with a no-fees-up-front extras agency or attend open castings when they happen. You can get training as a stuntman but if you are reliant on your income from another job it might be too high a risk and your employer wouldn't like it.
There are one or two films that I've worked on that have required extras, Atonement was one, a Viking reenactment comedy call Faintheart was the latest! They simply advertised in local press and contacted reenactment groups. Major could clarify, but a lot of the extras in SPR and BoB tended to be from reenactment groups such as SBG or 82nd Recon/2nd Armored.
S

Oh I chatted to Major about this on Sunday. Hes actually the one holding the Panzershrek (sp) in the pic but they swapped places for the explosion bit so he is the one flying through the air... and missing the crash mat in the process.
No longer involved in airsoft.
