Frankly...
.......why bother ?
Advise is freely offered in an unbiased form of this forum, which as been at the heart of the WW2 Airsoft from the start ...if you feel otherwise please feel free to say .
Rather than unite all you run the risk of doing is splitting numbers in what is already a small scene .
Too many forums as there is.
I cant be arsed with anymore...
This is the only place i post now.
Tired ?? come and i will put you too sleep BANG BANG
How many forums are there ? the only one i know about is this one and the Easy and Dog company team ones which is fair enough because they are teams.
CiA Forum
WW2AA Forum
These are the main ones i guess. Cant hurt to have another one....Its just discussion after all, and i believe it will raise the awareness, especially if more guys start turning up in WW2 kit to open days.
But regarding splitting the group i cant see that happening as CiA do very good games. Variety is the spice of life.
All fair points ..
bear in mind that CiA is
1 Independant - not linked to any sites or commercial operations
2 Run on a not for profit basis , there's a reason our games are £30,£40 not £85, £95 ..£100..
3 Run by volunteers, for the promotion and enjoyment of WW2 airsoft .
4 This forum is a wide church , we have banned no one, moderated little, unlike a lot of other well known airsoft forums .
Lots of people would like to jump on the WW2 bandwagon for their own profit, at the end of the day , people need to understand who works for their interest's and who is just out out make a buck from your hobby....
Not aimed at anyone in particular, not the "official view" of the four of us, just stating my own personal POV .
look above...................... couldnt agree more .
I personally dont have an issue with spreading the WWII word far and wide.
I post on several forums and will continue to do so.
Its often that forum 'a' might have no posts or discussions that interest me so I'll look on forum 'b' etc.
My regular haunts are in no particular order:
Here
The us ww2 boards
Arnies WW2 section
ARRSE
Gunmans WWII section
The georgia airsoft WW2 section
and no doubt I shall check up on Jeffs as well now.
"I think we are in rats' alley - Where the dead men lost their bones."
not knocking other forums and mediums, others have stated that it might be redundant on here and i agree. i lurk on a few ww2 re-enactor forums and other airsoft forums, but for me there is only one ww2 airsoft , and its this one .it covers everything i need under one heading.
Even here might not be appropriate for all conversations and its always good for there to be alternatives...
Hence I wish you well with your forum... I probably will stay with this one though, I have enough forums to keep track of already!
Well you've had your plug ....best o luck with it .
BTW if you'd posted this on one of the more well known Airsoft forums you'd have been wondering why your login didn't work any more . But hey , as I said we're a wide church and accomadate all .
Thread Locked as nowt else to say on the matter....my mobile is on my sig if anyone feels strongly ..
