hi guys I bought another pair of trousers, thinking this cant happen twice, from trident-military, they also advertise a pair of trousers as x large, they turned up and also had a 25 inch inner leg, again totally useless, again eBay totally unsupportive........
so I have lost about £100, I've closed my eBay account, I don't know if this has happen to anyone else, please take note and hopefully this wont happen to anyone else.........................
Spearhead Militaria are usually a reputable seller. Did you actually contact him?
I particularly like the way Spearhead sets out the measurements of everything, a lot of other sellers will only give a waist measurement.
Yep contacted him, they wouldn't pay return postage, even thought they sent me the wrong size, these were badly wrong, the advert said leg 35, waist 36, what I got was leg 30 waist 34, I said all this to eBay, and eBay said anything coming from china they wouldn't provide a return postage, so £30 return postage and get £10 refund....mmmm I would say I been conned.....Yep they do set out the measurements but they didn't send me them....
I actually went through a similar ordeal myself recently with a lipo charger. It arrived, broke on first use so I tried to get a replacement. When they asked for more postage to send it out I contacted eBay who said categorically no additional payment is required on the buyers part to replace an item not sold as described (ie working). You can open a PayPal claim though if its out with the eBay time limit.
I Think eBay have gone too far to protect the seller at the expense of the buyer, meaning the seller can send you any old crap, and get away with it..... I've closed my eBay account, once bitten twice shy 
Not quite sure how the first post on this thread has been edited but Spearhead is only mentioned in replies?? However I was stung in a similar way.. Spearhead Militaria is Barry Lyndon out of the Philippines and reasonably well respected, however Spearheadmilitaria.com is a crook working out of Shanghai and really trading off Barrys name to sell his crap products, his stuff is so bad I cannot begin to describe.. I was lucky and got a full refund (He sent completely the wrong item in the wrong size) but it took me three months. I am lucky enough to go to Shanghai once a month so the return postage was minimal..
