Please can anyone tell me how to get my item photos on the for sale board, I tried but I always get a |Error saying to large, sorry for being dumb 
the file is too large to upload, so you need to make it smaller, there are lots of free programs out there if you google to do so 
I use faststone photo resizer, seems to work for me, once redone below whatever size it says is ok then should upload ok for you

Steve you can place it on Powerpoint then right click on the image and do Save as Jpeg after making it smaller in size. It will then be small enough to post
or just post on facebook etc , save the image from it and should be very small that is my lazy method anyway lol

The ideal size for forums is 640 x 480.
Upload to somewhere like this..... [link]http://www.simpleimageresizer.com/[/link]
click the "dimensions" option, then specify 640 in the width box, then 480 in the height box (depending on the shape of your pic, if the height is greater than the width then reverse these figures)
then download the pic back to your pc.
Or upload to somwhere like postimage.... [link]https://postimages.org/[/link]
and resize to 640 to 480, then paste the "direct link" text inside the IMG tags
