Yup a great pic. :good: it doesn't look airsoft at all as the eye protection is barely visible. Bollé Vipers FTW!

“I wanted to come to the Volga at a specific location at a specific city. By chance it carries the name of Stalin himself. So don’t think I marched there for this reason – it could carry another name – but because there is a very important goal... this goal I wanted to take – and you know – we are very modest, we have it already."
Adolf Hitler, November 1942

"Comrades, Red Army men, commanders and political workers, men and women guerrillas! It is on your perseverance, staunchness, fighting skill and readiness to discharge your duty to the country that the defeat of the German-fascist army and the liberation of the Soviet land from the Hitlerite invaders depend! We can and must clear the Soviet land of Hitlerite vermin."
Joseph Stalin, November 1942

Yep correct. Signal magazine was the wartime magazine for the general populus reporting on wartime events home and abroad. Published I think in several languages french German and possibly italian.

Brilliant! The other one I thought would look particularly good is Boshman brandishing his pistol, with his war face! :giggle:

Around 30 different languages were used in its 25 or so versions. So say wiki.
Who'd have guessed? I knew of the Spanish, Swedish and Finnish versions on top of the ones you mentioned.

Chuffed with that pic, I knew the Germans had previously advanced along that line and managed to get over to that corner, hang back a bit and then I got some great kills, the type where the opfor haven't worked out where the fire was coming from untill it was too late. Alas my luck didn't last, I was hit and then quickly the Germans moved past to form up in position for their final attack on the main gun.
Rather than trudge off around their battle I thought there was no chance of a medic so decided to make best use of the bleed out time and get some snaps with my phone. As with all these pics the best ones are the "Action" photos where people don't know they are being pictured and are just busy getting on with their tasks, it was a pleasure to watch all the Germans working as a cohesive unit and I'm glad one of my snaps has been put to such good use.

Yes the lad liked this one a lot, this one really sums it up and he has used this Signal magazine cover for part of his Duke of Edinburgh award scheme, re enacting :D
