This site sells excellent stencils for wooden ammo, K ration and US Medical supplies crates, they also supply them for vehicles and can do one off stencils as required. Well worth a look for anyone looking for such items...
I have bought one and have another on the way, they are high quality vinyl and if careful can be reused.
I have circulated it to a couple of the groups such as PBI and Doughboys but it was suggested that it might be of some general use so have a look!

is there anywhere near you that can re-produce them out of tin or zinc plate? i had a works phone number template made a few years back, cost about 50 quid but it was reusable forever. ( still got it in the shed)
What type of place would do that?

M1 Ammo Crate!
Interesting. I never really thought of making these up until now.
Here's a company I've used to do small scale brass/copper stencils for models but they can do all sizes and types. - http://www.ppdltd.com/index.html
And a bit more specialized in stencils - http://www.lasercutit.co.uk/
Both UK based.
However, I will have access to a full suite of laser cutting and vinyl cutting machines from august (not to mention lathes and metalworking facilities) so I'll probably be able to run a few off at cost for everyone here.
Che has a German one from somewhere (metal stencil)
