TBH I'm so impressed with the MG34 that I barely even notice the armour. Gotta be safe guys :good:

Give me a big enough hammer and a place to stand and I could fix the world.
i'll kill a man in a fair fight or if i think he's going to start a fair fight or over a woman or.......
a problem shared is a problem halved ,but an advantage shared is no advantage at all
if a job's not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well

The air holes in the helmets suggests that they've used post war Feuerwehr lids. Such a shame to spoil an otherwise authentic impression.

Never mind authenticity, have you thought about the safety element. A couple of BB`s to the helmet really makes it swell up, the holes are there to allow for expansion :ghey:

I like the Night Vision stuff they have in front of their eyes. Some sort of mini Vampyrs I guess.

Wow, you're really parading your propaganda on the whole face-mask subject/discussion, aren't you?

This should be in Off Topic - if relevant to be on here at all.

Reductio ad absurdum

For me, these outfits do exactly the same thing as a facemask, which is to utterly ruin my personal experience. Once again, I'm not saying that people shouldn't wear either but simply that I have no interest in attending or running games where this is allowed. It's a subtlety that a few people seem to be missing.

Fairly sure no ones going to turn up to a ww2 simulation game in that kit...

...Unless someone's organising somekindof SPACE NAZI one i've missed in which case TAKE MY DAMN MONEY.

I suspect the only way of winning that airsoft game would be to empty your BBs on the floor and watch 'em fall over like skittles. Way to scary for me though, I run a mile at the sound of a single shot from an enemy K98!

i know i saw your heels at the sandbox game, running like a bugger you were

as for the armour, those facemasks would steam up like mad, why not use MESH :spam:

I bought one of these outfits the other week. :good: Mine is the De Lux version, it comes with force feedback recoil on the buttock plates. :D When deciding on the purchase I did query the authenticity of the ensemble and the bloke in the shop told me it was bang on . . . . Are you all now telling me I've got it wrong again ?

Hmmm, I'm trying to see the point in the post. They look the bollox, and thought this was a general post but have to say, now the thread has appeared 'loaded' has left me disappointed :slap:

I've got big lubs for you Martin  but no one give a giraffes bell end what you would and wouldn't attend or why. It's not debate, more of a personnel requirement and if we all just pop up our personell requirement poor ol chommers will have to buy another 4billion gig to store them all on and this awesome ww2 forum will turn into a menu.

First course could I have Germans in heer kit vs US rangers with a splattering or US armour, followed by.....actually you might be on to something there :good: lol

Exactly what I'm feeling about these posts, just you managed to say it with more awesomeness.

 Have chaps had a sense of humour bypass? Martin was clearly just poking fun at the 'safety above all else' argument - quite why anyone would interpret it as a serious argument is beyond me. And posting on a thread you don't much care for just bumps it to the top of the forum! :slap:

Off topic, but its gotta be said:

Gunman, if you want to run something with neo-nazis vs future yanks with body armour and ray guns andcool stuff like that I and most of the people I know would totally be up for that.
