Thanks guys, nearly all contributions received, plus 2 extras. I'll leave it over the weekend to see if there are any others.

Well done chaps, we're all going to miss him. Like all of us I would like to have gone but it's just not possible.

Will post up the final amount to the Legion on Monday.

Thanks Nick

Got back from Tims funeral a while ago. It was a really good send-off on a beautiful day, and his Napoleonic pals from the 45th had also turned up in uniform.

The wreath looked very nice, so thank you to everyone who contributed.

Cheers
Martin

Hi guys,

I have just made the donation to The British Legion. We had 15 of us made a donation including 3 members who pm'd me, one of whom made a donation of £20.
The total raised was £160. The wreath was £70 and the donation was £90.

Well done everyone and thank everyone for your generosity, I'm sure Tim would have been chuffed with the response!

Thanks Nick that's great :good: I spoke to Tom (Tim's son) at the funeral and said if he ever gets the chance we'd love to see him at another game. So we may yet see another "England" amongst us again :D

Gents,
does anyone have Tom's contact details? I wonder, if we could get him to the" TIM's War" game. It would be great, if he could make the game in the honour of this dad. He would surely get a special spot amongst the GJs. I would also help him get a kit sorted ...if he does not have access to the vast GJ kit Tim had.
Merry Christmas
Lutz
