Just watched the new Boeing 787 flying very low and steeply banking on a loop in front of my house. "Terrorist attack!" shouted out my son
Heh, a very elegant aircraft with impossibly slim, curved and pointy wing tips. I know nothing about planes but I'd recognise this one. Well, it did have 787 painted on the tail. Very quiet too!

Hope they didn't do too much damage on the way in fella, the alarm earnred every penny you spent on it, but I know how you feel. I bet the place will be like fort knox soon, athough you cant do anything nasty to prevent them breaking in, in case you infringe their human rights. You cant even nail carpet gripper rod to the inside of the top of your fence and spray it the same colour of your fence and sprerad dog poo on it, even if the only person that could come into contact with it shouldent be there.
Through bitter experience I can tell you the only loser in this country is the victim. That's a pop at the courts, not the police.

Saw The Sisters Of Mercy at their only UK tour date in Leamington!
And, (unusually,) it was a fantastic gig!!! :happyclap:

Glad you say that cos i saw them at Nottingham a few years back , i was incredibly excited about seeing them (always wanted to and missed them everytime in leeds) and it was a massive let down... competent but pedestrian if you get me.

I'm really glad they must have picked up their game a bit and you had a good show.

Yeah, throughout the late 90s and early-mid 2000s Mr eldritch has always had a 'the UK can go f*** itself' stance, hence having very few (and sometimes none at all) UK tour dates - but something was diffrent about this gig; it was the first time that there was only 1 UK date (as opposed to a few or none), and it was in a relatively small venue, in a non-major town, with ticket sales limited too. And he played all the classics and early stuff, while saying to the crowd "you're all so sentimental" and other banter which is very unussual indeed for the stroppy bald git!
