I fed goats.
Wondered at the gunsmiths on Sons of Guns making a quad mg42
I got woken up at 8:15 by parcel force. I'll forgive them, they brought my Australian jacket and hat
OMG that jacket is so soft, no itchy scratchy British battledress for me
Today i contemplate weather i'll be going to any WW2 events this year as it look's increasingly likely i need a knee operation

Give me a big enough hammer and a place to stand and I could fix the world.
i'll kill a man in a fair fight or if i think he's going to start a fair fight or over a woman or.......
a problem shared is a problem halved ,but an advantage shared is no advantage at all
if a job's not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well
A Herr Flick impression has been done before now, so don't rule anything out.
I can get hold of an all terrain mobility scooter.
Today I got my Truppenfahhrad in reasonable order.
I finally go the front brakes working OK and replaced the leaking front inner tube.
It has all been repainted satin black, I left the chain guard on and haven't bothered with trying to put a period front light on, and got one of the modern period pumps. Quite pleased with how it has turned out.
I also started sorting some kit out for the Normandy game in late June.
Cheers

Thanks Russell, perhaps one day....
Anyway, I had a fairly productive maintenance day today. Screwed the front of my K98 on (it kept falling off as the D-Boys plastic clip thing has become worn down), applied mud camo to my FJ helmet and edged my spotty FJ scarf as the material was fraying.
Cheers

Went for lunch at my parents. Showed my sister in law photo's from San Marino, she is now convinced I'm hanging out with neo-nazis
She asked why some of the Germans were wearing yellow trousers, so I explained they were parachute troops and it was so the ones that land upside down could be spotted easily. I don't think she was convinced

Sorry to hear that Gav, I took a year out to have mine fixed a few years back - it is worth it in the long run though.
