Finally fitted a mosfet to my Garand and re-oiled the stock. Might bore out the butt a bit more to take a 9.6 battery.
If I ever meet the idiot who thought spade connectors were a good idea for motors I'm snapping his car keys in the lock.
Embarked on the tricky process of moulding a Caubeen to the shape of my cranium.
Brought a Zeta Labs Mosin broken and have managed to get it to work. Constantly at 390 FPS. Very easy to change springs too!
Hand embroidered (well finished hand embroidering - I am a slow sewer) French infantry collar badges. The numbers on one of them turned out latger than the other but otherwise, not too bad.
Work in progress:
Et Voila!
Wow, they look excellent, Ranj.
You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier
...picked up some rather nice civilian wear.
Dug out my Volkssturm kit to add my newest parts to the web kit and see how it all fits.
Wow, they look excellent, Ranj.
Why, thank you.
Looks great CHThree, been a busy day for me too. Painted my italian webbing a nice uniform grey green, its a little light but hey. Also been restoring my 1934 bush radio, its the shell only and ive installed a speaker with blue tooth hidden away, just a little extra.
Also finishing the lanchester, pics to follow
Found some pictures of my dad in the Falklands. Never seen him in uniform before.
Another day sat at home hoping for a big parcel from Singapore (Aussie uniform). Bound to turn up tomorrow as I'm working a day shift for a change.

3 weeks after ordering and the 1st day in 2 weeks that I'm not at home during the day and I find a card in my letterbox saying that they missed me.
Am sorting piles of wet gear after Joshs excellent Cold War Game at RAF Honiley. Great game, excellent site, top notch standard of play and nice to catch up with some familiar faces.
If we aren't going to have any WW2 games at least it is something else period to do.
Cheers

Thats a point I suppose, Its a long wait now to Hut 9.
Today I made a start on repainting my Truppenfahrrad.
I also had fun parading around the house in my bodged up Leutnants uniform and adjusting the braces on my beautiful Steingrau trousers.
I might sew the edelweiss on my Bergemutz later, but first I have an Ash tree to prune now the rain has stopped.
Cheers

... I have mostly been sanding and painting buttons... French army 1938 buttons. From left to right : original, Schiperfabrik and repainted Schiperfabrik. I think a little WD40 will probbaly give the repainted ones a slightly aged look.
