applied for a job with the British antarctic survey, i hate to think about being half a world away from my wife and kids for 18 months, but thats how desperate i am for work . ( and the money is crap, but there are no shops on that continent so nothing to spend the 24 grand a year on)

if your trying to get it to take an m14 big, good luck, there were 3 of us with a total of 65 years of carpentry and joinery knowledge in a fully stocked workshop and we couldnt do it and make it viable. it will fit, but it will be as fragile as egg shells.
Someone posted up a pic of a snapped stock on this forum the other day - that was a hollowed out original I think...
Yeah im aware that they can snap...It was my stock originally before i sold it to Pat. Ive got the rest of the matching wood work for it..So would just like to reunite them.
I have a real wood AEG M14 stock that im currently preping for cutting, and sanding.
That stock will need its own passport soon.
