It has come to my notice that forum users have been sent emails along the lines of:

This has been sent by a known Polish conman who does the rounds of WW2 orientated forums sending direct emails offering dodgy gear.The bloke is Pawel Tomasz Nowak (but uses variations of this name and has zillions of email addresses). Provenance/authenticity/price of goods is suspect and he only takes money by bank transfer.
Please do NOT respond to emails/PMs he may have sent you.
In view of the recent experience with FoR 
, I think a good piece of general advise is not to deal with anyone who only accepts bank transfer as it makes it very difficult if not impossible to get your money back if they don't supply the goods.
He has been doing the rounds for years sometimes he trawls the treasure trove forums too. Pieces of eight anyone?
