Fuck this! I made a deal with him for 3 plates... (and payed with paypal and my credit card is 'connected' to my paypal account).
Did you buy them through ebay? Or just by sending him money with paypal?
@edit: I just opened a complaint at Paypal to get my money back, as my transaction is less then one month old.
Thanks for your warning, allthough I now have to get my money back, but I am still 'on time' for a claim.
This is his email adres by the way: @yahoo.com">worldwar2rick@yahoo.com
If you run it through google you come along several WW2 re-enacting related websites. Also on one of them you can find his phone number (see here: http://353id.org/events.html )
I gave him till Monday evening to reply me (complaint already filed with Paypal). If not, I 'upgrade' it to a claim.
Received a reply from him:
"they will be done tomorrow. one of the molds tore, so i had to make a new mold. sorry for the delay."
No words when they will be sent. I still have 3 weeks to upgrade my transaction to a claim.
And I am not able to read that Yahoo group; only members can it seems, but I just applied to join the group. Are there others who are also scammed?
Interesting: first Rick replies last weekend that one of the molds was broken and he would need to re-create a new one. After which I asked/demanded for a tracking number when the package was sent.
Today he refunded me the money through PayPal.....
Well, at least I've got my money back. Don't really get the guy, I will just go ahead with the new project I have in mind.
New project will be a Feld Fu. Doesn't require a faceplate as it can be operated with the lids closed. So that will cut the costs also considerably.

The $95 is in cyberspace and will be delayed to me by around another month
Sorry....wut?
