A shame the man passed away 3 years ago. I'm sure his family will very much appreciate these momentos of him though.

for some reason i'm now imagining Terry Thomas riding through the desert!

There was an interview with the guys sister on the radio the other day, really interesting stuff as well, but like many, she said that her brother didn't talk about what he did out there. She did however find out that his nickname had been "the babyfaced killer" :shock:

I remember seeing a few pics sent into a military vehicle magazine by a chap who was in a recce unit during Desert Storm. They were driving a few miles from their base and spotted a half dismantled ex LRDG Chevy CMP from WW2 which had been uncovered by a sandstorm a few hours earlier..makes you wonder what else is out there 8)
