Badged SS M43? Tunic-XL-Film Prop.

Please excuse my ignorance regarding this as SS isnt really my thing.

Have been told that this is an M43 tunic,5 button front and unpleated pockets. Has an SS collar patch to one side and a plain black one to the other,SS sleeve eagle on left side and also a Hitlerjugend cuff title below this.

Tunic has a STURM label and also a Size 56 label and also has a date stamp of 1940 inside and was told its a converted Swedish WW2 tunic but done very well but as said cannot be sure its 100% authentic but as it if it was ex Swedish is of superb quality wool.Has 1 internal breast and 1 lower field dressing pocket. Buttons are the correct pebbled type and may well be original. Shoulder boards are plain black,white piped and the rear and straps are made of what looks like the same woolen material as the tunic.

Have owned this for a good few years and only recently come accross it again while having a sort out,looks in unworn condition.

Cannot remember where it came from but do remember at the time that Sturm made these for a major film at the time,either Stalingrad or Enemy At The Gates but have nothing to prove this.
