Swedish Snow Smock
Seems an appropriate time to offer up a Swedish Snow Smock for sale ...................
The smocks are a little post-war (1950-60's) but are very period looking.
This is actually a pic that I've fished off t'interweb - mine is the same except that it still has the original, metal/zinc dished buttons.
The smock is a thick cotton/canvas and size: Huge, even on me.
Colour-wise it's 'off white'; it actually looks different shades in different lights between pale grey and light biscuit but as the smocks were made in a natural fabric, they can be dyed if required, and proofed to whatever level desired ('as is' they are made to be snow and 'shower-proof').
(Originally I had bought two, with the normal 'good ideas' of mod'ing and dyeing them into a grey German ski smock, and a sandy/tan LRDG/SAS type windproof smock. As usual they have been sat in the back of the locker for too long, so time for one to go; the other I've already started on the pockets, so will keep to finish 'one day' ...............

I take a 48"-50" in most smocks/jackets, and it fits me fine, with a wooly pully underneath.
