Mein kameraden, the time will soon be upon us when we must rid the Krim peninsular of the Bolshevik hoards!
Our forces are currently being harassed by fire from a large calibre naval artillery battery situated at the head of the Belbek valley. This battery forms a key part of the soviet defences and must be destroyed at all costs. Heavy bombing and artillery barrages have weakened the defences in the area but have failed to put the battery out of action.
I have just received orders from General der Infanterie Ludwig Wolff, Kommandanten of our glorious 22. Luftlande Infanterie-Division, to lead the assault to capture and destroy this battery.
I have been placed in command of you hand picked men from 1st kompanie Pionier-Bataillon 22, and 1st Kompanie Grenadier-Regiment 16. Together we shall share the honour and glory of completing this mission and driving the Untermenschen into the depths of the Black Sea in the name of the Fuhrer and the Reich.
Now, have no illusions, The task at hand will not be an easy one. Although the enemy is inferior, they are great in number and have have many months to prepare and improve their positions.
Dispite the bombardments, The area is still heavily mined, and there are many obstacles and barbed wire entanglements which are still intact. Recent probes by our Aufklärungs-Abteilung have revealed that as well as numerous bunkers and machinegun nests, there are also a number of well hidden Anti-tank guns in operation covering the main axis of advance. These will all need to be swept aside before we can reach our target.
To this end I will require Freiwilligen for NCO Gruppe leaders and to fill a number of specialist roles within our Order of Battle:

Very good point, in fact. The Infanterie will need all the firepower it can get to cover the Pioniere and assault enemy fixed positions.
