I don't know if its of any use but I do have an original very large verbandkasten (from a firetruck) if that would be of any use for anything?

Ooh very nice, the German forward CP will also act as a regen during the game so a verbandkasten would certainly look the part, I'm trying to organise a taup so the officers and other site dressing I have for it can keep dry if it rains :ghey:

I'll bring my czech Dienstglas to be used for recon, spotting for the 7.5 or can be given to the MG crew to help pick out targets

I've fired a bullet on every continent. Nearly hit someone, too.

How big were you planning on making forward CP? We could probably just rig up a couple of zelts as a basha if needs be? A tarp might be easier though.

Cheers

I thought about zelts but they will probably be needed for tentage. German staff must have the proper facilities:

2 x folding chairs
folding table
paperwork bureau
field telephone
Radio for both civil and military use
Ammunition crate
Detenator crate
Coffee making facilities

All the above I have just need some cover :slap:

Perhaps I shouldnt have let slip to the troops the comforts that the officers will have

I am intending to use my K98 but would be happy to bring my MG42 and Lafette that can be used in a fixed position by anyone.

Also, I have a couple of guns I could lend out if required. (Mp40/Sten)

Well Chris, if we have Martin MG in a fixed position , we could use yours for the more attack based action :D

As for artillery shells, I am happy to pitch in £20 quid for it - howitzer or mortar.

I'm happy to go with either k98 or mp40 depending on the mix of weapons or as our Truppenführer dictates

Have our superiors made any decision about what armament the want us to take into battle :?:

Its personal choice really, the low ammo limits and possible ammo shortages make Rifles attractive, however some MP40,s will be useful. It might be worth bringing both and seeing on the day who has what :good:

Yep will bring both, just wondered if you wanted us to squad up with a balanced type of weapon where possible, e.g. not one squad with all rifles, but happy to play it by ear on the day :good:

Hop rubbers have been ordered for the Tanaka, hopefully get here on time

MP40 is in line for a back up if all goes to plan

Otherwise it's gonna be MP40 & Sten as back up
