Calling all men to the front line,

D-Day - 'Battle for Caen'

Battle weekender, Sennybridge Training facility, Wales.

ONLY £85 for the whole weekend pre-book
£95 on the gate.
Welcome to D-Day events and Gunman Airsoft’s WWII Battle weekend.

August 1944
The outskirts of the Caen.

After the defeated troops of hill 112 finally returned to their camps and so many lives lost, morale is not high in the British Second Army and the hill has remained operational and in German hands. After a series of failed attempts to crack the German sprit a huge bombardment of British artillery, navel guns and aerial bombing has pushed the German troops from the city centre to the north and west of the Caen. However this has left its roads blocked by ruble and craters which mean the infantry will not be getting support from their heavy and medium tanks. The town centre has become a series of infantry based close quarters battle to the last. Who’s flag will fly over what’s left of Caen’s government centre by the Sunday and will the Allies be able to look at their foothold in Normandy as anything other than fractured.
Come and join the D-Day team and enjoy the Roller Coaster that is ‘THE BATTLE OF CAEN’

Axis must be this years 'black' then!

As said I will bring the '42 this time

Are there any other Axis mg's turning up?

I hope to have my 42 up and running for this one, I will probably deploy it in the "heavy role" on a field lafette tripod and leave it in a good defensive position

“I wanted to come to the Volga at a specific location at a specific city. By chance it carries the name of Stalin himself. So don’t think I marched there for this reason – it could carry another name – but because there is a very important goal... this goal I wanted to take – and you know – we are very modest, we have it already."
Adolf Hitler, November 1942

"Comrades, Red Army men, commanders and political workers, men and women guerrillas! It is on your perseverance, staunchness, fighting skill and readiness to discharge your duty to the country that the defeat of the German-fascist army and the liberation of the Soviet land from the Hitlerite invaders depend! We can and must clear the Soviet land of Hitlerite vermin."
Joseph Stalin, November 1942

Hi buddy, no probs with turning up late Friday as we're at Tudders - just down the road for STANTA!! There will be a booze and laughs before the off.

We all then meet at the rally point, guys not coming to Tudders on the friday can meet at the rally point for 9.30. This info will be released a few weekend before the event :good:
