Yes, any WW2 weapon is fine. You don't even need a weapon - you could be play the part of the formidable farmer's wife!
The same goes for you Porta, civies are fine for the Home Guard.
any weapon correct for 1941 so no mp44 sten etc

Guy, the approved weapons thing has been up for months - we can't change it after players have booked!
