Hey guys, after looking all day my brain is starting to hurt. What type of Waffenfarbe and Litzen would be worn on the tunic (not the panzerwrap) when on dutys away from vehicles? Thanks

If you are a motorised reconnaissance or cavalry unit, then golden yellow Waffenfarbe is correct. Regarding Litzen, generic (i.e. with no Waffenfarbe) was produced from 1938 onwards, so would be quite correct. However, I don't know whether such a unit would be proud to have old-style Litzen with the Waffenfarbe?
Whatever, I would go for generic, so you can just swap your shoulderboards to do other units like Infanterie or Pioniere - otherwise you have a tunic that can't really be used for any events that specify such common units.
You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier
The field grey wrap was very common for Aufklarung.
It was almost the only wrap used by the 116th. A mix of 4 pocket and wrap was captured in a series of photos.
There was a fashion for tucking the tunic into the trousers and wearing the combat belt through the belt loops. That suggests M43 keilhose rather than the special trousers for the wrap.
Good call on using the 4 pocket tunic though, you dont see it done much for Panzer/aufklarung.
Steiner is right, go for generic litzen if you want to use the tunic for skirmishing. The grey ones are perhaps the most versatile.

Nice one gents. I was looking about on places like GDrecon.co.uk and stuff, and it got a little bit confusing. All sorts of collar tabs and shoulderboards on diffrent panzer wraps and tunics Haven't seen pics of tucking the tunic in, that sounds like the kind of thing a soldier would do, panzerwrap is abit rubbish on the pocket front after all! Thanks again

Oh, and another thing; Would a panzer type breast eagle be worn on the tunic as well?

No, the standard eagle would be the norm for field grey uniforms, as would be the shoulder boards. They would be field grey wool with the required waffenfarbe.
That is under ideal conditions.
I keep going on about the 116th Aufklarung but if you can find that series of photos in the Bundes archiv on-line, or a book, you will see the mad mix of uniforms of an army under pressure.
